Inspired by our client's profession as a film director, we crafted this space around an iconic floor lamp reminiscent of classic film set lighting. The industrial-chic vibe, influenced by the lamp's style and our client's preferences, merges seamlessly with modern elements and the room's concrete ceiling. The coffee table was carefully chosen to mirror the lamp's half-dome shape, adding a touch of unity to the space.
LIVING ROOM
Continuing this theme, we selected a color palette that echoes the warmth of vintage cinema, incorporating rich browns and muted golds to enhance the inviting atmosphere. Textures play a crucial role; soft fabrics and polished metals contrast beautifully with the raw concrete, creating a dynamic yet harmonious environment. To honor our client's artistic vision, we incorporated carefully curated art pieces that reflect their journey in film, further personalizing the space. This design not only serves as a backdrop for creativity but also embodies the essence of storytelling, making it a true sanctuary for inspiration.
KITCHEN
The client wanted green cabinets. We balanced the green with dark, slatted wood and white Corian countertop, striking the perfect balance between modern aesthetics and cozy vibes.
With the smart use of the space, we were able to make the kitchen as large as possible - a tall cabinet in front was added, with the narrow shelves behind, to extend the kitchen to accommodate a peninsula.
Inspired by the industrial elements and just a touch of wabi-sabi charm, this space is all about effortless style and functionality.
MASTER BEDROOM
In designing the master bedroom, we focused on creating a calm and inviting space using natural materials. The use of rattan adds warmth and texture, while a large round mirror helps reflect light and makes the room feel more open. Soft, neutral colors enhance the natural vibe, and potted plants bring a touch of greenery indoors. This design creates a relaxing environment that feels connected to nature, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.
KID'S BEDROOM
We wanted to create cosy and colorful space with interactive play zones and personalized work desks. Drawing inspiration from soft petals of a spring blossom, we decided to use colorful wallpaper to highlight the cosy bed nook. For the color palette we choose soft hues of light pink,, creating a fun and comforting atmosphere for two girls to enjoy this room.
BATHROOM
The shower bath features a sleek design with gray tiles that provide a modern backdrop. Wood tones add warmth and contrast, creating a cozy atmosphere. Black details, such as fixtures and accessories, add a touch of sophistication and sharpness to the overall look. The combination of these elements results in a clean, neat aesthetic that is both stylish and functional.
